Winery Review: This has good intensity to the yuzu, pomelo, and fresh ginger notes, with a touch of tangerine and crunchy Honeycrisp apple on the finish. (via wine.com)

My Review: This is typically my go-to white wine. This time I did not pair it with food, but I commonly like to pair it with seafood or anything light. The aromas of this wine remind me of various citrus and fruits. While I do not agree with the wine.com review taste of yuzu, I do taste the ginger notes. Other than ginger it has a powerful citrus taste that I enjoy.

Experiencing wine tastings in Paris definitely helped spark my interest in the beverage. During these tastings, we got to try different red and white wines that are native to French regions. These tastings were not only interesting but also an introduction to the rich culture behind the history of winemaking.

    Growing up with a father who is a wine enthusiast has certainly influenced my perspective. Conversations around the dinner table often revolved around wine and wine pairings. Despite being surrounded by this wine wisdom, I find myself not knowing all that there is out there. I have tasted some exceptional wines in my life, leaving me with a desire to understand the complexities that contribute to their taste.
