Winery Review- "This fragrant red opens with aromas of wild berry, blue flower, menthol, and a whiff of exotic spice. The structured elegant palate offers raw strawberry, pomegranate, star anise and crushed mint alongside tense polished tannins and nervous acidity. Drink 2022–2028." (Kerin O’Keefe

Wine Folly- "One of Italy's top reds made famous by the Barolo region of Piedmont." "cherry, rose, leather, anise, clay pot" (page 141)

My Review- Love this wine! Has a gorgeous tawny color and classic barolo flavors like leather, herbs, cherries, and tar. Aerated for about an hour before drinking. Did not pair with food.

Tasting- Masseria Li Veli Torremossa

Name: Masseria Li Veli Torremossa
Variety: Fiano
Region: Apulia
Country: Italy
Year: 2022
Price: $14.99

Winery Review: "Straw yellow colour with greenish tints. Delightful aromas of lemon flower, acacia, white peach, mulberry. In the mouth it is sapid and full. Very soft on the palate with a mineral and saline finish." (Saratogawine)

Wine Folly: A richer, and more flavorful white wine. Honeydew, asian pear, hazelnut, orange peel, pine. Rich, almost waxy texture. (page 108)

My Review: This wine was not my favorite, but wouldn't say I strongly disliked it. It was very strong in flavor. I got big notes of citrus fruits, as well as a kind of dirt taste. I'm not sure if I would buy this wine again, but I would drink it if someone gave it to me.
I did not have food with this wine.
